Stillwater

Congrats to Ponies on huge end of reg season win, as Seth Eisele turns back 56 HF home ice shots, and brother Adam gets the GWG. ( Grandpa and Grandma, Grand Rapids residents who winter in the metro to watch Pony hockey , were understandably excited right in front of us. )

Karl, might this win conceivably help SW get the 5th or even 4th seed at the X, if everything unfolds as expected? As compared to maybe having been unseeded?

Stillwater isn't at the X yet, plenty of upset chances in section 4.

I agree. Stillwater fans shouldn't be feeling overly confident with the way their season played out. I think they will win 4AA and probably win 3rd place, but they could easily lose in sections.

No way there were 56 shots. But the kid played great.

Had a last minute change of plans and couldn't make the game. Saw the replay on LPH, and it appears shots were being counted not on net. I was joking to myself that they would count any shot that hits the boards beyond the goal line.

Must have been the goalie's dad doing the counting!
