Ouch! I was looking at 5A and noticed they had Mora ahead of Chisago Lakes.. It shouldn't even be close when looking at best wins and head to head where Chisago pounded them 8-0.

If I understand this QRF, you get penalized if you are AA and play an A school, even though most years, EGF, Warroad and TRF in Section 8A are stonger teams than alot of AA schools. I know when it comes to football, basketball etc. QRF has problems and I would assume the same with hockey.

Fortunately QRF means nothing in Section 8AA or A.

I agree Elliot, but do the coaches look at QRF to do there voting on Wednesday if they are struggling to find a difference between a few teams???

QRF can certainly be wonky, but if you look at the 7AA thread, the projected seatings largely fall into line with human perception, with the exception of Grand Rapids being behind St. Francis. Probably more coincidence then accuracy of the system, but it isn’t shaping up to be a disaster.
