Do they have to be with the same school?

No, the father and son did not have to play for the same high school.

As long as we are talking about team USA members from the 1970s, U of St. Thomas coach Jeff Boeser and his dad Bob Boeser, distant cousins of Brock.

Greg Dornbach was a great player. He probably hit 50 because of time at St. Thomas Academy before transferring to Edina. Casey was a great HS player too but didn't make it to 50. That is a lot. Very hard if you attend a school that plays a real tough schedule.

Mason Nevers needs 15 goals this year I think. Landon Langenbrunner will get there. Add them to the list.

I think Jackson Olimb probably gets there. Derek Stepan attended S-SM so that pair missed if it has to be MSHSL.

I don't know here, but if Jeff Antonovich is Mike's son that's probably another.

Will give it some more thought.
Be kind. Rewind.

Josh Klingfus, the current coach at Rochester Century, was a heck of a player at John Marshall. He played in the USHL for two years and at Bemidji St. for four years. His kid plays for Century now.

His assistant is Doug Zmolek a former Gopher and Dallas Star. Doug has had 3 boys play at Rochester Century, all defensemen.

There might be some pretty good father/son goal totals in that group.

O-Town. Great research on Dorny. I didn’t have the facts was making an educated guess. I may have to check the Wayzata records to see if Steve Persian and his son Ben at Orono did it. Think Ben did not sure on Steve GB
