Jackson Hallum most improved, wasnt even ranked in final NHL CS report.

Fastest player in Minn HS this year. Unbelievable how quickly he gets to top speed.

Has been piling up points in the HS Summer Showcase and HS Elite League, roughly tied with Kukkonen for league lead, this has been getting him lots of scout attention

The U of Mich commitment was announced fairly recently. The surprising VGK draft number followed today, he leapfrogged others to come in at 91.

That's a wrap! One in the 2nd round, three in the 3rd, two in the 4th, and one each in the 5th and 6th.

Here are the college commitments:
Minnesota 3 (Faber, Boltmann, Miller)
UMD 3 (Kaiser, Smith, Biondi)
Michigan 1 (Hallum)
Harvard 1 (Langenbrunner)

Like WM stated, Hallum was the biggest surprise. Vegas obviously wanted him pretty badly to jump up and grab him in the third round. Faber was first off the board as expected, but his projections were all over the map, and he even went a bit earlier than expected in round two.

He has great upside and will be going to a program that NHL teams respect a lot.
