I think alot of people in MN fail.to realize how good the Grand Forks teams are. They, in most years, would easily be in Top 10 MN AA and many years top 3-5.
Add, EGF played these 2 teams their fist games of the year (without 2 top seniors in their lineup). ND teams are literally in mid-season form playing 10+ games by that first week MN teams could play.
Yes, EGF has some concerns in the net, but I believe that will get better (appears it already has?) and as team becomes a little more seasoned, they will be outstanding!
Looking at schedules, EGF has easily had the most difficult schedule of any class A team thus far. Will be interesting to see how this weekend goes as they face Central and Red River once again having 4 games under their belt now.

Cheers 218. I for one, hope you are correct. I see that Fargo Shanley/South just beat GF Red River. That also beat GF Central earlier this year. I know you can’t go by those games for too much, but EGF did beat Shanley/South last week. That could be a good sign. (Heavy on the “could be”).

I'd like to think that the GF Aviators are changing the opinion of Grand Forks hockey. They've performed, quite well, against metro teams.
