No Tyler McCracken on 16's is an absolute crime, kid is a top 5 D in state for 08 class

For 16's the following kids have a waiver to national camp via making NTDP 40 man camp back in March:

Only 2 kids on each team I disagree with, think evaluators did a pretty good job this year.

Hard to believe Casey was not also taken as a 17 goalie.
He was #1 last weekend followed closely by Conway .
They were neck and neck last season as well. I guess they could only take one , very hard choice

Ironic they both rotated in goal in the regular season , and will likely both rotate again next year . Kerr and Cruitt are both fantastic also , (Cruitt got the nod for the 16s camp. )

I thought Casey was 55-45 over Conway based on last weekend...both certainly deserving. i still think Krey is going to be the best in that 07 group over the long run.

Cruitt is fortunate that Wendt, Smith & Carrithers were all invited to NTDP camp and opened up a path for him. On paper he was outplayed by Finn of Rosemount and Schreiber of Mankato West last wknd...but they're both like 5'9" and Cruitt is 6'4" so I get why he got the nod.

Yeah size matters. Cruitt was 4th out of 6 last weekend in sv% and 5th in GAA

Aside from the McCracken snub at 16's I thought Liam Schultz (Ashton's little brother) deserved to go, he looked good all wknd. I have to think McCracken gets an at-large bid.

The good thing about Minnesota sending 14 to NTDP camp is that it opened doors for a lot of really good players who may have been stuck behind them in previous years.

Thought Sturm from St Cloud Cathedral, Chmiel from Shattuck and Egan from Mahtomedi should've made 5 Nations team. The Wendt kid is on a heater in net after getting snubbed by NTDP, he had a really good Lincoln Stars camp to the point they wanted him to come next season and now is looking to lead the US to a second gold medal this year at 5 Nations (lead US to gold at Youth Olympics beating Canada in semis and shutting out Czechia in gold medal game). Kaenen Smith also made the all star game at national camp. MN goalies showing up and showing out.
