Re: AA State
I'll be there if I decide to play the "standing in line for AA tickets" game on Friday. What people want for tickets on the secondary market is lunacy.
Always wondered how many people stay on the season ticket list just to flip the tickets for profit. They couldn't even tell you who's in the tournament.

If they people want to spend $200 on a ticket, more power to them, I guess.BSUBeaver wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 2:16 pmFree market and capitalism at work! I didn't spend that much, but for 4 tickets it's a good thing my wife is wealthy.ryguyMN wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 2:27 pmIf they people want to spend $200 on a ticket, more power to them, I guess.BSUBeaver wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 2:16 pmFree market and capitalism at work! I haven't missed a Hill championship series game, other than the semifinal in 1975.

How exactly can the brackets be revealed today when there are two AA games left to go tonight?

The headline says "On Saturday," so I'm assuming that's what they mean.Sparlimb wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 8:41 am How exactly can the brackets be revealed today when there are two AA games left to go tonight?

Re: AA State
We should be able to help them with the seeds. Here are my opinions:
-Hill Murray the 1, if they win
-Moorhead next in line
-This is where debates can begin. My thoughts:
-I think St Thomas Academy grabs next spot, but could see Stillwater jumping them with win.
-Stillwater v. Edina? Tough call. Stillwater would have a win over HM just like Edina.
-I think Edina > Rogers & CDH.
-I think Shakopee is staring at 6; scary matchup with the talent.
-Andover probably looking at 7; just too many loses
-Lakeville South is locked in at 8

Re: AA State
There are 4 remaining scenarios: HM&STA, HM&CDH, SW&STA, SW&CDH. Here's how I see seeds in the four different scenarios.
Scenario 1: HM, Moorhead, STA, Rogers, Edina, Shakopee, Andover, Lakeville South
Scenario 2: HM, Moorhead, Rogers, Edina, CDH, Shakopee, Andover, Lakeville South
Scenario 3: Moorhead, Stillwater, STA, Rogers, Edina, Shakopee, Andover, Lakeville South
Scenario 4: Moorhead, Stillwater, Rogers, Edina, CDH, Shakopee, Andover, Lakeville South
Scenario 1: HM, Moorhead, STA, Rogers, Edina, Shakopee, Andover, Lakeville South
Scenario 2: HM, Moorhead, Rogers, Edina, CDH, Shakopee, Andover, Lakeville South
Scenario 3: Moorhead, Stillwater, STA, Rogers, Edina, Shakopee, Andover, Lakeville South
Scenario 4: Moorhead, Stillwater, Rogers, Edina, CDH, Shakopee, Andover, Lakeville South
Re: AA State
Shako, Andover, and Lake South are locks for the 6, 7, and 8 seeds, respectively, regardless of Friday's outcomes. Edina is locked in the 4 vs. 5 game I think.

For a number of years now, the coaches seem to just go with the LPH final rankings. Works for me.

The Championship game tickets are easier to get than the Semis. Lots of people sell there tickets when their favorite teams are eliminated.CrimsonCakeEater wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 5:06 pmBy the grace if God I got championship tickets in the club level at center ice for 40 last year day of, that’ll never happen again

Ad much as I hate to root tor Hill, I cant root for Stillwater. Stillwaters goalie should have been ruled ineligible for the entire season, I understand he is still not living in the district, still commuting from his parents home in Andover.

Go Pioneers and go Raiders. I also heard the same thing with Conway. Where there is smoke, there is fire.
