MNHockeyTV quality: Is it worth it?
Thinking of buying monthly pass for MNHockeyTV to watch not just high school section finals but also youth regions and state.
Wondering if anyone can speak to the quality of the streams?
I see MNHockeyTV is now owned by Live Barn, which in my experience is terrible. Live Barn is like trying to wage a game played on a snow globe, with the stream showing the whole ice and it being impossible to see anything. Is this what MNHockeyTV is like?

Maybe this one. Not exclusively hockey but oh what did my renewal cost me I think a little over $30 for a year.

I use MN HockeyTV for this time of the year only. I pay the 1 month and cancel before renewal. I think it’s worth it. Currently watching Edina/Wayzata. 1-1 2nd intermission.

Is it like watching a game on a snow globe? Can you tell what’s going on? Do they put the score and clock up on the screen? My kid’s youth hockey association has Spiideo subscription for game video, making clips, etc. It’s awesome because technology of its system tracks puck, so camera automatically moves/follows. My experience with Live Barn is absolutely nothing like this.

It's hit or miss, but the production is generally good for games at the big AA schools. Not super high tech but there's a clock and scoreboard and announcers and definitely worth the 25-30 bucks for section season.

I had freezing issues the first couple games (ex. nearly whole 2nd period of BSM/EP was pretty much lost) after subscribing early January and was pretty frustrated with it. Past couple years I have subscribed mid-season once conference play starts up and into the home stretch to the playoffs. It's been good as of late for the playoffs, but can be hit or miss on sporadic glitches, in particular the graphics with the clock. It will just show 00:00 at times when play is going on.
NSPN.TV is a better value and quality of service, but game selection is more limited.

I think it's worth it. 95% of the time I have had no issues. Some of the rinks have HD cameras, but the ones that have the Live Barn cameras don't always have the best quality. The only real annoying part is in some arenas you can't see the scoreboard and they don't have it in a little window in the upper corner. Weird watching a game not knowing how much time is left.
