Strib ruins sports hubs
Anyone looked at the ugly change they made to the hubs? No reading articles without a subscription. No looking at previous years. No looking at a team schedule (that I can find). It looks like crap.
Re: Strib ruins sports hubs
I saw on Twitter they will have the archive stats available again soon. I think it looks pretty sharp and if it means more articles and wider coverage of sports, I'm all for it.
As for subscription, it's a business, they need income to provide content. (Or you find a way around it to read the articles.)

I gave up on the Star Tribune a long time ago. They stopped reporting the news and started to try to get us to think like their faithful leader(s)
Plus everyone knows hockey is their 8th or 9th favorite sport to cover
I get why they need to charge a fee now that their paper no longer gets tossed onto our driveways... But that's not why I won't pay for it

Yeah, you can tell when a former Republican politician is the publisher of a paper.yesiplayedhockey wrote: ↑Fri Aug 15, 2025 9:37 am I gave up on the Star Tribune a long time ago. They stopped reporting the news and started to try to get us to think like their faithful leader(s)
