Final:
Edina 3
Holy Angels 2
OT

Fantastic hockey game. Thoroughly impressed with the grit of Holy Angels. Bode McConnell with the winner. It seemed like a fluky goal which has to be a tough pill to swallow for the Stars.

Definitely a fun game to watch. Surprised Edina scored so early in OT.

Kind of a strange game. Competitive game, but it kind of felt like Edina kept Holy Angels in the game. Holy Angels lacked a forecheck in the Edina zone and Edina pressured them into turnovers and icing the puck what seemed like a record number of times in a game. After Edina came back to tie, it felt like Edina was going to win the game and it didn’t take long in OT to settle it.

Edina never trailed. I thought the game had great flow but that may be my green colored glasses since it was Holy Angels icing the puck. I thought both teams mirrored each other with their game plans. Conservative forecheck, tight defense, playoff style hockey. You're right about Edina not putting them away. That has been a theme for much of the season.

Yeah, that should have said once Holy Angels came back to tie.
