no we did get screwed over here at UND. but from what ive understood is that we cant host NCAA tourny's anymore, and when playoffs come around we cant have the sioux logo on our jerseys. sounds kinda gay to me. <p></p><i></i>

I am impresseed with the UND President that is fighting back to keep the prideful tradition and nickname. Not an advocate of settlement in the coutroom, but the NCAA leaves them no choice.

Regardless, UND should do what is right and NOT give up the tradition of the Fighting Sioux nickname. Be proud, stand up to the arrogant elitists at the NCAA. Make them continue to show everyone that they (NCAA) are the racists. An overwhelming majority affiliated with UND are very proud of the Fighting Sioux, the NCAA elite are the very small minority that view the nickname as "hostile and abusive".

Stand up, be proud, fight for what is right, just as the Native Americans would.
