Reduced Price Admission to Frozen Four for HS Teams
I assume that HS coaches have already been notified of this opportunity for their teams to attend the Women's D-I Frozen Four at Mariucci at a reduced rate, but just in case, here's an excerpt from the Gophers' notes for the WCHA tourney:

"NCAA FROZEN FOUR TICKETS SPECIAL
The University of Minnesota and the NCAA will be offering a ticket special for high school hockey teams and their coaches at a discounted rate. All Session tickets will be offered for hockey teams of 15 or more for $10, a savings of $15. The NCAA group ticket price will go on sale Monday, Feb. 20-March 20. All other group tickets are for sale for $25 a session. For more information, call the University of Minnesota ticket office at 612-624-8080 or 1-800-UGOPHER."

A good deal, and with the teams involved (featuring several players that were focus of frequent discussion in this forum last season) it should / will be some great hockey to watch.

Field for NCAA Frozen Four
The trouble is, at this point we don't know what teams will reach the Frozen Four. I don't think teams like New Hampshire, St. Lawrence, and Mercyhurst have Minnesota players on their roster.

Re: Field for NCAA Frozen Four
My mistake...I was thinking the WCHA Tournament (this weekend). I do think the WCHA Championship Tourney will be very entertaning and would be worthwhile for local players of all ages to attend. I'm really looking forward to it...

...and the Gophers claiming the hardware!!

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... ookyone at: 3/9/06 3:03 pm

Frozen Four on Friday
Minnesota advanced to the NCAA Frozen Four with a 4-0 victory of Princeton last night. They will meet New Hampshire, the nation's #1 team in one national semifinal at Mariucci. The game time is yet to be announced (4 or 7), but I'm guessing the Gophers will be the evening game. The Wildcats are supposed to be loaded and put on quite a show.

Please consider this opportunity to expose your youth or HS team to some very high level women's hockey. The Gophers welcome your support.

Re: Frozen Four on Friday
Last nights semi final between Minnesota & New Hampshire was the best women's hockey game I've ever attended...what a game!!! The all WCHA final for the NCAA hardware should be awesome.
