Forsberg or Iginla

Post by Grunt24 »

Just would like to know who would you take between the two if you were looking to start a new team.

They are both highly talented but i would take forsberg because he has better puck control and has great vision on the ice. But iginla has a hell of a shot.

Overall edge goes to forsberg.
Forsberg is an over-rated dirty little goon. His days are numbered in the NHL.

i would take jerome, hard nossed player with talent, Forsberg needs to stop trying to draw penalties and play his game.

FORSBERG

Post by IRC »

I would definately take Forsberg in this for one reason only...Forsberg is the best player in the world rught now hands down. There is no one there that is better than him. Don't get me wrong Iginla is a great player but not Forsberg caliber.

I would take Iginla.

Forsberg was the best player in the game for awhile, but he has been a little injury prone lately and is getting kinda old. If I were starting a team, I would want a guy like Iginla leading it.
Elk River AA State Champions- 2001 Boys & 2004 Girls

I gotta go with Iginla. He is younger and a GREAT leader. Just look at what he did with the Flames during their run to the Finals. Sure, their goalie was on fire, but you gotta be able to score, and he was cool under pressure. Plus, he isn't afraid to hit, and do it cleanly, as opposed to Forsberg. All you need to know about him is the series against the Wild when he went up against Walz. Forsberg is good, but Iginla is better.
-------------------

"75 percent of the world is covered by water. The rest is covered by Smoot." --Fred Smoot

A couple of years ago you obviously take Forsberg but now I think you take Iginla hands down.

A healthy Forsburg is worth 2 Iginla. Best player in the world because he has all the skills to hang his hat on. Philly might have gotten damaged goods though, still will help because of his play without the puck is a text book example of what all players should be taught.
