I have four currently uploaded. For now, I'm just experimenting with colors and a basic layout. Do they add anything to the design? test04.htm has a non-animated puck graphic which is simpler. Is this preferable?<br><br>2) Ideas for filler in the left and right margins? Right now, you can see what I have in the margins and there is room for more content there.<br><br>3) Is the typesize too small on anybody's monitor? If so, let me know your screen resolution size. Mine is optimized for 800x600 but I'm not sure how it looks on higher resolutions.<br><br>4) Any other bugs which are noticeable? I've only tested these using IE. If anybody is using Opera or Firefox, I have no idea how the pages look. Lee-<br><br>I like the test.hml and the test02 examples. One or the other would look great to me.<br><br>I don't mind the moving puck in the banner. Would be sweet if everytime the puck turned over it would be a different team name or logo. I know that is almost impossible; but it would be neat.<br><br>I think it looks pretty good! Like some other suggested, and again I know how much work has to go into a site; it would be neat to have all the logos/mascots /pic of teams jerseys and maybe link that to there home page. I don't notice any difference between the designs except for the none moving pucks in one. Is it because I'm using Netscape? Nice lay out though. I like how the ratings are on the right, you can see them right away. I would suggest if you have time or wanted to maybe adding some more content. You could maybe add pics of hockey rinks and say where they are located at. I don't know they are just some ideas. I think you have a good idea about switching the design though, it'll give it a fresh new look. <p></p><i></i>

These are subtle colors which work well with the black and blue text.<br><br>RinkRat, I looked at the page using Netscape 4.7 (yep, it's an old version) and the only difference was that the links didn't change color when I moved my mouse pointer over them. I coded them that way (to change color) so they'd stand out. The first one and no moving pucks. They are cool, but don't really do anything the 2nd time I looked at them. I like the first one (test.htm). I like the colors. The spinning pucks aren't distracting too much. Not a fan of all the bold type, though. What would regular type look like? <p></p><i></i>

I've added a scrolling marquee where updates and other info can go.<br><br>2. Another color change, but at second look, I doubt I'll keep it.<br><br>3. If you click on the "Hockey Links" link, you'll see how the other pages are going to be designed. It just looks better to have a border around a page forcing the text more to the center than how it currently looks. I did this with the State Tournament History pages specifically in mind.<br><br>4. Using the non-animated pucks this time. Leaning towards using that but not committed either way just yet.<br><br>With CSS and a couple of other goodies I've picked up from re-reading a book I have, I'm having fun with it so far. This is pretty much finalized. I'm in the process of making sure that all the inter-page links work, and I intend to get all of the newly designed pages uploaded on October 1.<br><br>For now, the main page looks like this:<br><br><!--EZCODE LINK START--><a href="http://www.minnhock.com/index2.html">ww ... <!--EZCODE LINK END--><br><br>Note that some of the links on that page won't work because I'm renaming some of the sub-pages.
