Not necessarily talking "best" here, but rather "favorites". Always wonder why I am addicted to this place - then I see you guys list movies like "Fandango" (Costners best work, felt like I lived it) and "My Bloody Valentine" (classic comedy-horror, loved it) and it all makes sense. We are cut from the same cloth on here, most of us.
Great lists, all of you. Age is the only thing that seperates some of the lists, all depends on when you grew up.
I always have a hard time with deciding which order I would put them, but my favorites are -

Field of Dreams
We Were Soldiers
Tombstone
Dances With Wolves
The Deer Hunter
The Untouchables
Man On Fire
Miracle
The Natural
Country

Never seen Mean Girls and frankly I don't want to. On the other hand I did see the Notebook and it was a good one. Nothing wrong with enjoying a good chick flick every now and again. PEACE!

From checking out Mean Girls at imdb.com, it doesn't look bad. Might have to rent the DVD this weekend...if I can convince wifey that it's worth watching.

If not, it wouldn't be the first bomb I've suggested we watch.

Lee
____________
Message Board arsonist since 2005

Forgot about American History X. Very, very good movie. When he did the curbie, I could taste the concrete in my mouth for about 5 minutes. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/sick.gif ALT=":x"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... lasses.gif ALT="8)">

Lee, Mean Girls isn't too shabby. You might be a little disappointed with the ending, but overall I thought it was pretty darn good.
Elk River AA State Champions- 2001 Boys & 2004 Girls
