Who is good from your area??? From mine we have Greenway (4-0) and ranked 4th in the state for 2A. They have gotten good pitching, and tons of hitting. Grand Rapids (6-2) have been playing very well against some tough competition. They also have a very good pitcher. Grand Rapids-2006 State Runner Up

It isn't a terribly boring thing to watch. I enjoy watching it from time to time. The most interesting part of the game is the pitching. They throw underhand, but they throw hard. It's crazy. I wish I could throw a ball underhand like that. There is no reason to dis the girls. The sport is just as tough as baseball, no doubt about it. Grand Rapids-2006 State Runner Up

i would watch it here and there but its too fundamental its alot of taking outs to move runners along....but seeing what some those pitchers can do is pretty impressive i know i wouldnt probably wouldnt make contact with a rise ball

Some updates on the northern teams: Grand Rapids takes second in the IRC Tournament Grand Rapids 9 Nashwauk 0 -Katie McBride allows 1 H and K's 12 Grand Rapids 3 Mesabi East 0 -Emma Brown pitches well International Falls 4 Grand Rapids 3 -Katie McBride K's 12 in the loss #4 AA State Ranked Greenway takes third in the IRC tournament Greenway 14 Chisholm 4 F/6 -Toni Troumbly picks up the win with 6 K's International Falls 4 Greenway 3 -Alyssa O. pitches good, but I'Falls D is too strong Greenway 16 Mesabi East 1 -Alyssa O. throws very good, great changeup. Everyone hits. Greenway improves to 7-1 on the year.
