Any thoughts on who will win peewee B1 state?

Como They didn't have an A team this year and blew the competition away all year. Look out for them. Outscored teams 122-19 in district games.

Eagan has a strong chance of coming out of region maroon. Best team to look for might be Stillwater. They've been decent all year. I don't think any TC team will put up a fight like hockeymom69 thinks. What kind of a name is that anyway? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/embarassed.gif ALT=":o">

All year everyone said Como is so good becaUSE THEY DID NOT HAVE AN "A" TEAM. Let the under achievers have a little fun they could not carry the jock straps of our Great Highland All Star team.

Oh, thats right, I forgot about Highland. They are the local private catholic school of youth hockey. They recruit players to come play and forget to fill out the right paperwork.

No, no, I'm not from como, I would have cut my wrists a long time ago if I had kids that played there. I'm just saying I like the outlook you give them in the tournament.

where evey ur from in the TC district, ur team isn'tgood enough to make it to states. Any team from TC district will have a really hard time

Como can't play "A" hockey at any level, If they survive the money they owe everyone might put an end to them.

rinkrat - your two teams have already lost once and will play each other next: Maple Grove 4 Eagan 3 in 3OT and Chaska 2 Stillwater 1. Stillwater was outshot 38-11; Stillwater's goalie played out of his mind. The other two games had Wayzata Blue over Roseville 6-5 in 3OT (Wayzata had 2:1 shot advantage) and in the "what are they doing here?" category Highland lost 11-0 to Centennial. I don't think Highland would've won a single game were they in D6, yet TC district gets 3 seeds to regions. Tonight, TC's #2 seed Southwest will get embarrased by Spring Lake Park.

Even though Spring Lake Park isn't that good to start with they should beat up on Southwest. That makes the lone wolf remaining out of the TC district Como. Have they played anybody decent this season, other than the teams in the TC district?

Don't count out Southwest, they are pretty skilled. They might not win, but I don't see a blowout. Como has done really well outside the district and they have played a couple of tournament with good competition. They don't have an A peewee team this year, so they should stand a good chance to go deep. Highland, might be the weakest of them, they were the 3rd seed, but good kids. You may be right, Southwest will probably hang tough but lose. Spring Lake is another "no A team" association. Como is legit (again, no 'A' team) and faired reasonably well outside of district - beat Chaska 2-1, tied Roseville, lost to one of the Edina teams by one... But I don't see them getting by Minnetonka, and then they would have to beat a Roseville/Centennial/Wayzata to get in the back door. That's a tall order because all these teams will be bringing their 'A' game, and I'm just not convinced they are deep enough to make it through. Good luck to them though.

Maybe the TC district should just have all "B" teams and maybe they could compete more.
