Morons
If everyone were as unhumble as 2aprincefan this site wouldn't work. No one wants to hear about how well the princeton bantam B team did. Quite frankly no one wants to hear about how well any team did at any level.

Re: Morons
that's just false mnhckyscout...many people want to hear about how different teams at different levels.

But you are partially correct...it is hard to say that they have a bright future ahead of them. Many people think that St. Cloud could have won Bantam A state had their best players not opted to high school and they only had one team. Most of those kids go to Cathedral or will be going there. So, if they think their 3rd place finish in Bantam B's will translate into success against Marshall or Cathedral in high school..they are mistaken.
Taylor Mattson-The Next Non-Mr. Hockey

Re: Morons
Just curious 2A i mean this team is losing a few players cuz they live in Milaca and would have to transfer and there best player is moving to Bemidji but Princeton the years they went to state placed 5th in regions "I beleive" and they made a run against top Bantam A teams why do you think the future of Princetons players will not be able to compete at the younger ages this team played A and played over .500 hockey the first time in PYHA history "the previous A teams the ones that went to state would never win more than 2 or 3 games" they opted to go to B becuase there Goalie who was a huge part of the doing good moved to Varsity as an 8th grader so with losing players and such they may not be able to make a run in that way but if they did stay why would they not be able to but in other years Princeton has been able

2A

Princeton succes will translate well to the high school level. everyone knows the cathedral kids soften up and loose skill over time. not enough good competition and they are just plain soft.

It's hard to 'loose' something.

Cathedral has never had the amount of talent coming in as they have now. They will be the best team in the section.
Taylor Mattson-The Next Non-Mr. Hockey

Re: Morons
the success they had as youth hockey skaters was due to kids who enrolled at st cloud tech, st cloud apollo, moorhead. the cathedral kids filled out the roster.

The best player on their team?? I think it's the other way around. The only two real notables from Tech are Metche (sp?) and Gus Miller, the other players just "filled out the roster". From all the youth games I saw, Braden Rahmen was not effective because of his size (and has been gone for several years).
Taylor Mattson-The Next Non-Mr. Hockey

Mnhckeyscout is just mad because his team beat them in regions then lost to them again in regions to go to state!

schmidt is good , but very awkward, and will not grow much, could be the best 8th grader, but deifintely not the best

he has peaked.

WHL, USHL, and college scouts disagree with that. And I'll take their word over yours.

If he is awkward, doesn't that mean he hasn't peaked?

I saw him play in the Exposure tourney this weekend and he played better than I've ever seen.
Taylor Mattson-The Next Non-Mr. Hockey

Re: Morons
Princeton opened enrollment a month ago, so Milaca players will have a place to play if they want. Their best player is not the kid moving, Rusk is moving to Brainerd and he has the slowest feet on the team, he worries about kids who bang on him rather than the play around him. He wont cut it in Brainerd, unless he works hard on the areas of concern. He will turn out just like Ross but only worse.
