Hibbing

Post by hockeyfan35 »

Hibbing should be a power house in section 7a next year. The only player there losing that will have an effect on the team is drew walters. The rumor that the babich's are coming to hibbing is most likely true. Why would they stay in eveleth and play for a losing team, they want to be with the jackets and help them make another run at the state tourney. Good luck jackets on your 04-05 season, wish the best luck to you guys. Go BLUEJACKETS!!!!!!!!!

The only excellent player they are losing is Walters. Your forgetting the importance of how second and third lines match up. i dont know all of hibbings roster, or their ages, but im guessing they had atleast a few more seniors taking up "leader" roles on those deeper lines. They have a legit chance at 3 peating..but i wouldnt call them teh powerhouse yet.

And the Babiches wont go to hibbing. They wuoldnt really even be leaving a losing team what so ever? Eveleth has more hockey heritage than any IRC team, and you think two kids are giong to jump ship on them? They rebounded exceptionally well after last years loss of a great senior class, and who is to say they wont do it again? They wont leave,no, not the Babiches i know.

HIBBING!

As I have said before, Hibbing should have a good chance of tri-peating their region 7a title. Yes, they lost MVP Drew and selected others but they have a real nice group of players coming back. With regard to their so-called lines matching up, that issue will more than take care of itself when they begin their new season run. I also would not 'go out on a limb' and state that they will be the 'power house' in section 7a but I will say they will be one of teams to be reckoned with. In terms of these Babiches, if they want any chance at going to State, they should consider this rumor/coming to Hibbing. From what I can see, there seems to be little if any chance that Eveleth has winning the region next year. I don't know who had started this rumor with these Babich boys but whether there is any validity to this or not, Hibbing will have a solid team next year with or without these guys on their roster.

Just Fine!

Shae will do just fine and will take on the leadership role that his brother did this year. Next year, Shae will again have some fine hockey teammates to get the puck to and visa versa. Again, he will be one of the leading scorers next year.
