Lance Pitlick (NHL) Speaking at Crystal Little League event

HS Hockey fans,<br><br>I'm a Cooper hockey parent and Minor League Director and coach for Crystal Little League. Next Saturday,<br>April 3 from 4-7 pm at the Crystal VFW on Bass Lake<br>Road, (169 to Bass Lake Rd. East 2-3 miles to VFW) we are hosting our 4th annual Roast Beef Dinner<br>and Sports Silent Auction. Dinner is served for only<br>$5 per person at 5pm.<br><br>I am honored to announce that Lance Pitlick will be<br>speaking to our kids and parents at 5:30 p.m. as part<br>of our event. Lance is a 1986 Cooper graduate where<br>he starred in football as well. He was a Mr. Hockey finalist. Lance played for Doug Woog at the U of M and for 8 seasons in the NHL for the Florida Panthers and Ottawa Senators.<br><br>He just recently retired (2002), and will be supplying<br>a few donated items for our silent auction as well.<br><br>Tickets are only $5 per person for the Roast Beef<br>Dinner (includes vegetable, potato and drink) and MUST<br>be ordered in advance by Thursday April 1 by calling<br>Dan Olson (Cooper hockey 1981 grad) at (763) 525-0407. <br><br>There will be over 60 SPORTS MEMORIBILIA ITEMS for our<br>SILENT AUCTION as well. Kent Hrbek autographed bat,<br>Joe Mauer certified autographed ball, Harmon Killebrew<br>augographed 8 x10, tons of bobbleheads, etc. There<br>are also "Minnow races" for the kids and a Little<br>League Word find. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO CRYSTAL LITTLE LEAGUE to allow us buy a new scoreboard and bleachers this year! I am trying to raise $8,000 for these items. Lance played baseball when he was younger as well.<br><br>As a Cooper hockey parent as well, I am very happy to<br>be able to present Lance Pitlick to you and for our<br>Little Leaguers. thats great that you are able to have him speak at your thing. He came to one of our practices this year with hankinson and they were just awesome guys and new the game so well. Its great Pitty comes back and helps out where hes from <p></p><i></i>
