What dont you agree with about the rankings? Two teams that should be ranked are Hopkins and Lakeville. We will see the new rankings Thursday. I think that 3 D8 teams (Woodbury, IGH, and Lakeville) should be ranked along with WBL-B, Wayzata -B, Hopkins, Chaska, Edina, and WBL-O from the metro. Woodbury should be the number 1 ranked team. They are by far the best team I have seen this year.

The rankings are pretty close....Hopkins just got there scores sheets in and think they and woodbury are 1 and 1A either way. Its tough to rank 2-10 because the teams a re very close, but I'll try. I'm taking the easy way out and tying some teams....we' will see how the D8 teams do this year (last year not so good). 1 Hopkins -watch out for the yellow helmets-Benilde 1 Woodbury 3 White Bear Black 3 Chaska 3 Lakeville 6 Wayzata Blue 7 Edina 8 Rave We will find out Friday 8 IGH We will find out Friday 10 Osseo Black Of course this is for fun and the puck has to be dropped.

Still dont know why WBL-B is ahead of Woodbury. Woodbury beat WBL-B in the Schwan Super Rink Tourny in the championship game 5-0.

we played woodbury tonight and tied 1-1 they have a very good goalie... solid team def deserve to be number 1... shots were lakeville 30 - woodbury 22

Woodbury beat wbl b 5-0 in the semi finals of the schwan's tourney...Next day wbl b- gets killed 9-1 in the 3rd place game vs fox valley and woodbury beats wbl orange in the ship 6-0...how is wbl ahead of woodbury???

You better show up everynight or you will get beat?? D8 has three good teams Woodbury,Lakeville and IGH Metro has 11 or 12 tough teams!!! a few top club's Edina,Hopkins,Chaska,Wayzata-Blue and WBL-teams Should make for a great State tourney this season Good luck to everyone!!! Coach77

Brickwall, it should be a great tourney in Wayzata next weekend with 6 ranked teams. Rankings may/will change before the tourney but the 2nd,4th, 6th,7th,8th, and 9th ranked teams should make for some good hockey. How is it that Rochester and Minnetonka-Blue get to play each other in the first round, there are 6 ranked teams in the tourney and they all play each other in the first rounds, so only 3 have a chance to win it all instead of 4

Hmmmm Yer LPH rankings must be put together by parents and are a joke. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> Lookin at MHL scores, I see da lowly #5 ranked Hopkins beat yer #1 ranked Edina and yer #3 WBL-Black and yer #4 Chaska yet are still ranked 5th???????????????????? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> Apparently da Hopkins parents need to send LPH more email. While we are on a rankings rip, don't be gittin yer nose out joint about the Wayz pairings. I believe Tonka is 9-3-2 in conf and that would make 'em tied for 4th with the Chaska boyz (with or w/o da PC Play Nice points). So they should be also ranked in Top 10. Woodbury is 15-1-2 overall and is 11-0-1 in district 8...only loss coming to edina 2-1...

woodbury IGH and Lakeville could take any team from the metro league, its a shame only 2 teams from district 8 go to the state tourny

don't listen to LPH rankings, they're pretty much bull. But they do show the top ten probably just not in the right order. Woodbury should #1 followed by Hopkins.

yeah somehow wbl-b was ahead of wdby earlier in the season, even after wdby beat them 5-0 too, but oh well it doesnt matter until the end of the year, and then we will see who should be #1
