I heard thru the grape vine that Hummel quit hockey all together. He is just going to college now...truth in that?

He was released by Chicago, not sure where he went from there.

A Few Notes
I mentioned defenseman and former St. Cloud recruit Jared Hummel leaving the Chicago Steel. Hummel will be enrolling at Division III Hamline University and play for their hockey team starting in January.

Jared Hummel is attending Hamline but won't play until next year. He didn't want to use a year of eligibility to play hockey for 1/2 year
