That is the final standings from 2 years ago when these kids were Peewees. I might move River Heights lower Hastings up 1 or 2 and Rosemount down.

Rosemount lost both of the Wynnes and Ryan Walters to STA. They were both eligible for another year of Bantams. I also believe they lost Brady Loew which is a huge blow

Woodbury returns 10 or 11 players from last year. I take them as the favorite. Watch Woodbury players Max Gaede a tall forward with a blazing wrist shot and dazling moves, Jonathan Gehrt a smooth skating defenseman that likes to jump up in the play but can stay at home and let a big slapshot go from the blueline, Walker Hyland another defensman that likes to jump up in the play and is the big hitter for the Woodbury team

You forgot to mention Andrew Herbert who is a strong d skater and Tyler Nowicki at center or wing both add as much to the team. I agree they should take the district and perhaps regions if they keep playing strongly

hebie can dangle so can nowik. keefe and hauge are way fast and can hit. and our first years are good. so i dont think that three people can carry a team. dumbass

Way to go!

Way to go Woodticks! Nice language.

This is a 5 team race

Eagan - Not a good showing in EP
Woodbury - Watched EP run down thier legs
Rochester - Drive too far? Too cold up here? AHHH didn't bring your refs
Cottage Grove - Quiet, haven't heard much
Lakeville South - heard a lot but haven't seen much very weak wins, proved they aren't ready for VFW schedule

Lakeville North - could play spoiler, but 3 games played = 0 HEP points.

Last Year.

Post by Pucknutz69 »

Last year was last year for everyone. Some teams have totally new rosters some have a few additions.

Woodbury = returned almost the whole team, but lost thier leading scorer in Pittman.
Cottage Grove = returning 9, 2 strong goalies
Tartan = returns half but lost none to HS, dark horse for Regionals.
White Bear = only returns a couple look at record so far, not as strong as usual
Roseville = returned a few but lost a lot to HS
Stillwater = returns a nice group, look at the noise they are making so far
Edina = returns 5 still dangerous but not as strong as last year
Centennial = Lovick and Aus can't do it on their own

I have a feeling you won't see the usual teams in the State tournaments this year. Who can stay healthy, stay together as a team. Should be a pretty exciting season without watching Edina, Centennial and White BEar run through everyone.

I agree....last year was last year. Woodbury did lose Pittman but it's not the end of the world and he really didn't do much this season. Cottage Grove looks a little slow. Stillwater will fade in the stretch...I think. Centennial is way to arrogant for their own good. Roseville is pretty weak all over. Tartan, please. Edina is always there just because thy're Edina. My choices are Duluth East, Woodbury, Elk River and EP as the state final four.

Looks like your Woodbury squad with the Blazing wrister of Max Gaede, the Smooth Defense of Jonathan "Potty Mouth" Gerht, and Walker The "Heavy" hitter Hyland didn't do so hot this past weekend. Looks to me like you could have used some scoring or maybe some goaltending either way your predictions are close on 3 of the teams. How far did Woodbury get in Regionals last year????

Remember PuckNutz69...last year was last year. Most of the squad were first year Bantams and a couple of the big hitters were injured for a majority of the season. Oh....by the way....look at the new Let's Play Hockey rankings.

So one of the dad's on the team called and begged LPH to put you guys on top. You haven't shown anything to get that ranking. How have you done in tourney's this year? Not to well by the looks of it.
