Rankings?

Post by Flin Flon »

Why does eveybody care about these so called rankings? They are not very accurate and especially at the pee-wee level. Teams are so inconsisent on any given day and I've personally seen some teams this year that were very good and are not even on the radar and there are some teams that are very average and are in the top twenty. They are all irrelevant because only 8 teams make it to the state tournament and 15 of the teams are from the cities area and only 4 teams will make it to the show. Personally I like when I coach against a team that is so called ranked because they take us for granted and have beat them.

Rankings

They are a Joke after the first 5. Lakeville South BB are in the top 20 and have lost to Sibley & Rochester Red in D8.

the only reason that some average teams are ranked at the peewee level is either because they were good at squirts or have a big name (WBL, Edina) im not saying there bad im just using them as an example. peewees are the youngest year getting ranked so thats why the rankings may be a little off
