I would like to invite everyone in the Fargo-Moorhead area to the Moorhead Youth Hockey Arena on January 28th at 7PM. The Moorhead Police Department is hosting a "Cops and Kids" game that will feature area law enforcement versus select Moorhead Peewee and U-12 players.
The purpose of the game is to promote positive interaction between law enforcement and youth in the community. There is a $5 entry fee, and that money will go to Moorhead Youth Hockey, the Moorhead Police Explorer Post and towards future events like this.
There will be many door prizes (like UND hockey tickets, "lets play hockey" apparel, gift certificates to restaraunts, etc) given away and free F-M Jets tickets to the first 500 in attendance. There will also be silent auction items like an autographed Dave Christian 1980 USA hockey Jersey, team autographed Wild hockey stick, Matt Cullen autographed hockey stick, Peter Forsberg autographed bobblehead, and more.
It would be great for the kids to have a large crowd, so if you are in the area that night, stop by! If you have any questions, feel free to post them.
