IGH will come out on top if they can score

If the goalie is hot then woodbury will win

the IGH-Red/Woodbury game may be rescheduled because Woodbury's goalie is sick. depends on if D8 will let Woodbury reschedule though

the IGH-Red/Woodbury game is on as schedule. D8 told them that they must play the game with a goalie from their u16 team or lower level of play

Hey goofy, wonder why you would like to see Woodbury go down, not because they smoked Tartan at the start of the season....hmmmm?

Both the Woodbury and IGH coaches agreed to reschedule the game, so did D8, the head of the refs said no way. Go figure? Props to IGH coach for being fair.
U16 goalie did a good job, not many penalties, both are good teams, IGH had a good win. I am sure these teams will have more good games against each other and represent D8 well in tournaments.

it was a very good and fast paced game only 4 penalties were called. to be honest i feel that Woodbury outplayed us for most of the game.

Woodbury vs. IGH-Red

Post by UNDlars »

I have to agree train. I thought Woodbury controlled the play for the most part. Although he wasn't challenged alot, that U16 goalie came up big a couple of times to keep it close though. Especially on the breakaway stop of #10 I think it was.

that was a big save by that kid. We were shorthanded at the time he got the breakaway.

that was a good save, but he didn't stop the one that counted. he played very well. a few more lucky bounces, and the game could've gone woodbury's way too. although the refs did do a terrible job. they didn't see 3 goals, two by IGH and 1 by woodbury. They need to learn to get in the position to make a call. It could've been a totally different game.

i understand, but three... how many do they get? i'm pretty sure that woodbury's literally went in, and rung around the back of the net and out... maybe they should get some nets with the pads at the bottom. anyways, it was an amazing game, and the most fun game i've played in in a long, long time!

tartan came out strong and did very well there first couple of shifts. but other than that it was back and forth through out the whole game. Tartan would score and then edina would come right back and get 1. it was very intense and hard hitting game. i would love to see tartan and edina play again and see the outcome of the game
