Amanda Trunzo to Dartmouth College

Post by ghshockeyfan »

Benilde-St. Margaret's standout Amanda Trunzo is committed to Dartmouth College. There have been some rumors about her destination and choice, and just wanted to clear them up. Sounds like she had a TON of options, interest, and really put the time and effort in to weighing all of her wonderful options & doing her homework before making a final decision that best fit her athletic and academic goals.

Amanda is also an All-State level Soccer player for those that don't know.

Congrats to Amanda and Dartmouth!

In addition to being an amazing hockey player Amanda is an A student, which enabled her to have all of those options about where to go to further her education. Not to state the obvious, but for any players reading this if you can achieve that kind of success in the classroom as well as on the ice your options will increase dramatically. There is more college womens' hockey out East than in the Midwest, and many of those schools require very good grades and test scores before they will become interested. Bottom line is you need to study hard in addition to playing hard!
