Bemidji is a heck of a hockey team. I look for them to take this one goal hockey game.

Should be a real good game.

Bemidji seems deeper overall but they need to stay out of the sin bin. Alex has a number of good players including their goalie.

So, I will give a guess of 3-2 Bemidji wins IF they stay out of the box otherwise Alex will take it.

Bemidji pluses =
Forward – Senior Courtney Josefson
Forward – Junior Sarah Erickson
Forward – Sophomore Jessica Christofferson
Defense – Freshman Emily Larson
Goalie – Senior Savanna Osborn

Bemidji has played a tougher schedule.

Alexandria pluses =
Junior Forwards – Kathryn DelZoppo, Abby Williams and Freshman Michelle Anez.
Defense – Junior Ashley Holmes
They also have a solid second line
Goalie – Junior Danielle Justice

Alexandria is a fast team that plays well together.
Justice consistently has had impressive goalie stats. This year she has only allowed 18 goals out of 18 games.

Both have played a few of the same teams with the same results. The only game that Alex has lost was to Crookston in OT. Bemidji tied Crookston in OT. Other than that the game scores were pretty close but Alexandria had less GA.

I’m going with Alexandria 4-2.

Either way it will be great hockey. Good luck to both teams.

I am lousy at predicting, but I will have to go with Bermidj, since they are my home town team.

Bemidji does not play well at the Runestone, but they are looking to reverse that trend prior to Sections.

And the boys HS team will be there to support them.

I have to go with Bemidji.

I am thinking Bemidji is the better team but they don't always play their best game every night so if the Alex netminder can stay hot and their forwards take shots and crash the net I can see Alex coming out on top in this one. I'll take Alex 2 Bemidji 1, with Bemidji playing a mediocre game and Alex burying the puck on their chances. Look for this to be a goalie matchup.

I think that a better assessment of this game would be "Look for this to be a great goalie matchup". However, IMO, Danielle Justice (Alex) is overall a more consistent goalie; but, it's still a team sport not won or lost by one player. I hope both teams bring and play their best game. :)
