Re: Nick Leddy - 2009 Mr. Hockey
MrBoDangles must be Anders Lee's publicist once again spewing crap...I'm not even sure that he's the best forward on Edina, possibly Everson. Danny Mattson and Tyler Pitlick are more talented than Lee. This years Mr. Hockey pick again will be a defenseman in Nick Leddy...he's the faster, most talen...

I have been his best friend since he was 3 we talk all the time about his choice and he's pretty settled in on Harvard, so I would say he will be going to Harvard, he calls the coach often when I am with him and we took a trip there and he says he liked it the best. Napalm please, its time to torch...

Danny Mattson of holy angles or Anders Lee of Edina ( cake eaters ) Danny Mattson is talented, NDU recruit and will be a top 5. Lee is too much about himself. He will NOT be a top 5. Interesting shot at Lee considering he led the NIT tourney in scoring with 4 goals and 7 assists. For a known 2-way ...

Bardown is 100% accurate in his statements about the situation. Zach will be more than fine in the long run. I do suggest you make some calls before you assume your facts are straight.breakout wrote:Neutron 14 wrote:I know how hard that was for you to type....breakout wrote: Gopher Blog knows what is going on.

FYI, some stats are inflated due to PT. I have been told that there are teams that don't roll the players and have certain players on PP. Hopefully, that is inaccurate because winning and stats aren't the purpose of the league from what I understand. I can tell you Reed Larson and SW rolls all 4 li...

Sticks, others: I don't agree with your comments about Edina kids that happen to attend private school. In the case of Anders Lee he may have gone to St. Thomas because of their hockey program, but Benilde? C'mon. For generations the Catholic school path in that area has been Our Lady of Grace for ...

Think Giles and Edina are going to make a stand on this? I've got two words for you... Anders Lee. Are you really attempting to compare the two? Remember Meth kills.... Then you should lay off it, because it's clear I wasn't comparing anything. My point was that if Webb works out and shows that he'...

Novel idea...but when it comes down to it IMHO the coach has to put the best players eligible to play, on the ice to give the team the best chance of winning. In High School hockey the coach never has to do something. I do agree with you that in most cases they should put the best players on the ic...

I'm not sure I really catch your drift, but the point I was making is that Gaarder fit with Budish and Everson, more than Lee fit with them. This year giving Lee his own line would mean Charlie Taft and a top 20 sophomore in Michael Sit. I don't see how that is not cheering for the whole team. Movi...

Agree on the Gaarder observation. Disagree on the 3 line observation. Edina played the snot out of the top two lines. They were drained toward the end of the tournament. The major issue last year was finding two lines that could score consistently. Gaarder played with Everson and Budish for 3/4 of ...

I would not say hill has greater depth then edina this season. Edina is going to have more depth this season considering that is main reason why they couldn't win state last year. Giles is going to find three solid lines this year and there is plenty of talent in edina to make three solid lines. De...

Congrats to Anders, but I am not as high on him as everyone else is. I think he looks at his skates and the puck too much and therefore doesn't see the ice as well as Everson and Budish and usually ends up missing an open pass. He usually ends up beating a defender and scoring anyway, but once some...
