This is interesting. Not a hockey decision but a business decision from what I gather. The Snipers and Grinders are a "Top" AAA program?! They are the money maker and 3rd and 4th teams in the MM program. Many RBK, Edge, Mavericks, etc teams beat those teams regularly. Stop drinking the coo...

Some USHL teams use the "Open Camp" as a money maker while some simply have one "Main Camp": http://ushl.com/tryouts/ Cedar Rapids, Lincoln, Sioux City, Green Bay, Sioux Falls have the one main camp and if you are invited to one of those camps you have as good a chance as anyone ...

I do not know anything about the Hastings program first hand. I do know they lost a few players (Raskob to AHA, Stephan to Shattuck, Maybe even another Stephan??? STA I think) Those players would have made a season for any coach. Same goes in Stillwater, Mounds View, Prior Lake (though less extreme)...

Lets all agree on this....High School Hockey Refs are enough to pull your hair out on their own. I have been to many games this year and was at the AHA game last night. A d man got called for getting in the way of a player and he never actually touched him. You would think the call would be interfer...
