EP went undefeated in Feb/March, thier last 13 games, including wins vs. Mtka, Wayzata, Stillwater, and Edina.

And in the third period, plus overtimes, Kyle was constantly winning face offs in the O zone. Each time he won the face off with crisp passes back to his D who had many nice scoring opportunities. I almost forgot, the one exception....The face off which he won, put it between the other centers legs,...

Good teams find a way to stay out of the box, so the new rule harms good/clean teams, and also teams that have talent and can run a good PP.

I'd be fine with Pewees having a shorter penalty period with a 12 min period.

I could argue to push Stillwater up just a little higher.
After a mediocre start, EP beat Edina, Tonka, and Wayzata in the 2nd half of the season which should give them attitude for regions.

Wayzata played well last night and will be a playoff favorite. Saw good hustle out of EP all night long which proved that you can win big games with less talent if you out-work the other guy. The hour clock should not be started until the officials take the ice. Normally with both teams also on the ice. If a team is late in geting to the ice officials will signal the clock person to start the clock. I wasnt there, but nothing ticks me off more than a linesman who will not make a call on ...

Lakeville has been playing such darn good hockey lately that a win by them would not be an upset

Blaine over Stillwater was interesting....Blaine is a team to watch. They played far better at the Edina tourney than thier record shows. Good team speed and all out effort

EP won seven in a row but will need to move down a little in the rankings until they get consistent.

EP split with Edina last week, with EP winning in league, and EP losing (2-0)in the champiponship game of the tourney- in spite of outshooting Edina by a wide margin. The Edina tender had a very nice game.

I made the drive over to Edina to check out the JGA tourney. Interesting that they turn off the heat in R1 when Edina isnt playing in the championship game... Anyhow, looking at the scores, the weekend proved you have to throw the rankings out the window and you have to "show up and play the ga...
