How many AAA teams are there? This has really become a joke over the past years. There are AAA teams that have players that play at the B and even C level players during the winter. The concept of AAA is to have the best of the best compete - or at least that was the way it used to be. I am waiting...

Looks like he played 18 games for the gophers during the 1994-1995 season. Before that he played in the USHL for two years and after he played for the Seattle Thunderbirds. He had 5 points in 18 games for the gophers.

Is it my imagination or are their more kids playing on a AAA team than not? It appears if you want to play "AAA", there's a team for you. Is AAA truly what it used to be? Are there really that many top quality players out there, or just deep check books and mis-guided parents?

This years Breck team has 11 seniors that all lettered as Freshmen. While some of them probably can't be labeled as sleepers (Fulton, Morin and Russell who are all playing elites) I think several of the others may also emerge this year. Watch out for a very speedy Riley Borer (an elite alternate), ...

Re: Wayzata Varsity

If the coaching is that bad why doesn't the AD make a change? I am guessing the AD is more than just a football person. Wayzata loses it's share of players to privates, etc. But, so do other schools that have successful hockey programs. Is that the coaches fault? Or, parents pushing decisions regar...

Whose the 4th player in addition to Jone, Barnes and Holm? Whelan is listed as an alternate. Goaltending is the big question mark along with defense. They lost 4 senior defensemen last year and no JV player could jump into the varsity line up last year.

He is a big kid who is very solid in his own zone. Not great numbers but is a great skater. i think he's going to be slated for a year or two in Omaha before he lands at the U. Solid pick up, he'll develop into a nice player. Just to be clear, I'm not ripping the kid. He just doesn't grab your atte...

I was told that they are not giving out any 'automatics' except to past players this year. They wanted to be fair and offer everyone a chance to earn a spot by trying out rather than give away so many automatics. Whoever told you that is wrong. There are tons of automatics and it keeps getting youn...

Leddy, without a doubt. Could be the best skater in the state. He has explosive speed, great hands, great playmaker. I can only imagine his hockey IQ is very high and he see's the ice better than most. The game starts from the goalie out, if the defense can't move the puck, guys like Budish have not...
