Kinda sucks that i started more games as a junior than as a senior....my play improved..nothing really changed with our other goalie...no new goalies....last year i had a .822 save percent in like 8 games...this year a .922 save percent with 2 SO against better opponents...oh well ...my career is ov...

a thought just came to my mind... Do you think that since the teams, tonka and hill, were that good of teams that it makes it easier for the officials to swallow their whistle? IMO yes it does...but what are your thoughts? I think taking this into consideration could be why Southern MN has a problem...

Section Prelims? Feb 23
Does anyone know what the cut off is for the teams who have to play a game Feb. 23rd? Or does it vary from section to section.
(ex. seeds 6 and above do not play prelim game on 23...seeds 7 and below do play..)
Thanks

Coaches Interaction in OFF-Season
Does anyone know the MSHSL rule regarding a coaches interaction with players in what is considered the off season, I know the summer is alright for them to be coaching but i know there is a rule in place when another sport is in season, such as football season right now. Can anyone give me specifics...

My .02 This section is never really weak as anyone thinks it is. Although, this year it may be a bit weaker. Losing alot of skilled players due to graduation. The team that I would pick to contend for the title would be Faribault and Red Wing. NPHockey27- Who is this goaltender from Lakeville South...

I guess I just get the feeling that it is not truly a neutral site because of what town it is in. I dont see how you can realistically say any Rochester team does not have an advantage there. The only thing neutral about it is the ice and rink specs, and thats where it stops. No Lakeville or New Pr...

Does anyone agree with me when i would say that Rochester, no matter what rink it is at, is the farthest from a neutral site for sections 1a and 1aa teams to play at? I say this because of the NP vs Lourdes game. I was down there to watch it and couldn't help but notice all the Lourdes signs all ove...

I don't see how you can say the game was close. NP dominated Albert Lea. Who cares if they were garbage goals? The Albert Lea goalie should have stopped them, controlled the rebound, or covered the puck. Or their D men should have cleared it. NP clearly played better hockey, not to mention that at l...

Have a pair of Simmons UL4 (Modeled after the Vaughn V3, almost exactly the same 1/2 the price). They are not on the market yet, 34 +2, it will be a while before they are on the market, depends on how long you will wait. They are in pretty good condition, the only thing thats wrong with them is the ...

Nippen, I hope you are a good official, because you are not very good at spelling, grammar or putting together an intelligent sentence. Bruce, acutally, Hemingway DID try out for the Fargo team. He would have been one of 3 goalies and decided to stay in school, you are close, but again, incorrect. ...

Wow nippen i never thought of looking at the new rule changes what a concept and i never said the penalties that were called were bad they were only called on one team. as for bruces comment about finishing the check, one LF kid received a penalty for that too even though the puck was in his feet. ...

NippenTopChed08 that was very well said. You are never going to please everyone at a hockey game. Its part of the nature of the game. Goopherpuckplayer- I dont know how alex takes over as the cheap team in the section when little falls was the one getting called for all the penalties. But good logi...
