I think about this every time I see a 15 to 0 score. When awards are given by stats alone its hard to blame a coach who has his first line out trying to rack up points late in these games. Sounds to me that officials need to take a lesson from here up north. Let em play. Don't call the ticky tack stuff. call the obvious. thanks everyone for posting. lets keep it going and i think it would be great if we all coud post well refereed games and bad refereed games. maybe it will get around we're watching and keep them a little more fair.

Rules You can't call girls games the way you call the boys. Ref's shouldn't decide a game. Let them play! I promise you'll like the game better.

I'm from the north and think the officiating is so much better than when we venture down to the cities. In the cities the ref's call tic tack penalties and lose the flow of games. Let them play only call the obvious penalties.

I think this format is as good as you can get with so many girls. Srong players will still stand out against stronger competition. Maybe eliminate the high school coaches. Oviously the coaches meke the coaches assoiation team. Who makes these selections? Do they actually watch games or is it based only on stats, record or if you're on a state tournament team?

I've seen WBL play a couple of times once against our team and coaches daughter played good. They play her alot with #4 which helps very solid D who rarely gets beat. To me thats great coaching! I do hope there's in fighting as it will help if we play them in sections. Keep it up WBL hockey
