If Edquist leaves but not Johnson, LVN moves down to middle of top 10, if both leave they move down to bottom of top 10. If Zim leaves, Wayz moves out of top 10, and probably out of top 15. I may have overrated them to begin with If Tufte leaves, Blaine stays in top 15, with veterans Bautch, Penn, ...

I didn't do the positional count Gator but upon further review it demonstrates the questionable process and influence of the west metro coaches, evaluators and schools. Goaltending obviously makes a difference and I don't know the least about evaluating a goalie in this type of format but some stat...

I think the GR forward you are referring to is a young man with the name Mattson(sp?) Not sure if he has the talent to go straight to varsity. GR has another forward that could contribute heavily this year, big kid, Frazier. Had decent year with not much help from line mates. could provide needed p...

getoveryourbadself - No, this is not a joke. It's not that we are THAT confident in our child. My family has been involved in hockey for a very long time and we have learned to roll with the punches. I know this saying is used waaaay too much, but I'll say it anyway. Hockey is a not a sprint, but a...

A different group of adults putting a tremendous amount of pressure on Minnesota kids to meet and exceed expectations. I don't imagine that the hard feelings lay completely with one o...

Having kids that have and are playing at various levels of the so-called Minnesota AAA my opinion is: If we are trying to classify teams as AAA then you have to play other AAA teams from around the country - in other words, you can't just stay at home and play against the same teams every tournament...

Metro Mosquitoes is the name of the MASH team the 98 MN Blades are playing on 5/9. This team is made up of players from the 98 Icemen.
Sounds like a Blades vs Icemen game. The Icemen website shows they have two games back-to-back on 5/9???

Are we seriously arguing the merits of a team based on the results of a MASH game? Get a clue! So you are implying that MASH games don't mean much and that those teams playing in those game aren't trying to win? Metro Mosquitoes vs Mn Blades in a MASH League game does not count for the arguement. M...

It won't help the tournament much if Synergy 98 does well, but Synergy 96 gets blasted. The team from Canada that played in a laugher will tell the Canucks they know not to bother. Perhaps the Alliance should "Give them a couple of more years" before they play at that level. This post mak...
