Who else thinks it's messed up that STA students salute the American flag. They may be Junior ROTC but they are NOT in the military and I know alot of people in the military that were really mad about them saluting the flag.

It's tough to tell because only some rinks keep shots for JV. I think if they can do it for bantams they should be able to easily do it for high school.

Our Eveleth JV team had a really good year, mainly to do with a new JV coach, Jim Robinson. Robinson has coached in Hibbing previously and was a real asset to the team this year.

This year the Herb Brooks award was given to Casey Myhrye, a goalie from virginia. He is a good kid, with a great attitude, and i think he was a great choice.
