Everybody is right, you are just not listening to each other very well. Who thinks its fair that seven of the top 8 teams are in two sections? The MSHSL should do everything it can to get to get the best teams while still honoring regional representation. It is not really hard to do. You can use th...

When I was at the game it did not look like their was any chance that he could posibly get his own rebound. There is no way that he touched the puck after the shot was made. # 19 for fergus a Left handed shot came in way on the left side of the golie. He made it look like he was going to cut across...

Remember, the fastest horse does not always win the race, but it is a good place to bet. Will AV be good in ten years? who knows? But no one who follows Minnesota Hockey should be surprised by AV's success this year. The Soph class won the state tournament as PWs and Bantams. Its not about making s...

One more thing, adamp. it is not about right now. Look at these sections for the future: 6AA EP-next year's seniors have won state championships at bantams and h.s. Tonka-Great this year. Lots of players coming back and next year's sophs are top five in bantams. Wayzata-Next years juniors won state...

If you want to change sections so that the best teams in the state don't play each other, what are you going to do? Change the assignments every couple of years? That's retarded. They do re-assign sections every two years. It happens again this spring. This year the fix is easy and works geographic...

Re: HM - WBL
Youngie, you win. I give. Private schools have an unfair advantage and all youth association players should also attend the local public high school. Make that all A level players should attend the local public high school. B & C kids can go wherever they want. You're getting old when you have ...

hmm, I haven't really given this very much thought.... But, if it's true that they have awarded FF the win, how can you compensate for this while still being fair to alex? Put FF in the tournament and let them play New Ulm tomorrow with the winner playing Breck on Wednesday like they would have anyw...

I heard from a guy that was supposedly watching from just behind the goal at the glass. He said that the puck went off the post and hit the goalie and I think everyone agrees that did happen. He also said that the Fergus player poked his stick into the goalies leg pad, which then pushed the puck in...

IMO, actually.. not just an opinion... The ref is was wrong.. It's a goal. Nice to see them award the win to FF, but you also can't take anything away from the section champs now that it's this far past. It's a shame the right decision wasn't made immediately. Knowing first hand what it's like to be...

If it hasn't become quite obvious yet, this is really Little Falls' game. They have the talent and fire to get it done. I am glad that they did prove my own worries about them going into the tourney wrong. The thing of it is, you don't have to stop Breck's top line if they never have a chance at th...

hano by far is the best player in the state. He can score every time he touches the puck. Yea.. Against Virginia he can. He'll get one at most against Breck. I imagine you'd have several takers on that bet. If I was a gambling man, I'd be one of those takers. I'm not saying he isn't going to get so...

To many quick whistle every where on the ice. I completely agree. Quick whistles. Over analyzing the game, too many calls. As for the transitioning. I counted at least 8 times that the ref got in the way of play physically. Was it the extra one????? About half the time it was. Other half of the tim...
