To say trent has any integrity is a bold face lie. If you want to say he is a good coach that runs an excellent practice, go right ahead because its true. He also seems to get the most out of his kids. He taught my kid a ton while being his coach, i loved watching his practices, he didnt just run dr...

North controlled play in the 1st period and out shot Farmington by a bunch. 2nd and 3rd periods very even and reflected in a 4 shot advantage for North over those 2 periods. Farmington lost their leading scorer from each of the last 2 years during his 2nd shift of the game to a shoulder injury and n...

In my opinion, Farmington should be favored over South and based on season be a major underdog to North. That being said, these are all individual games and any team can beat the other on a given night. Farmington is far deeper than South and will easily match South's top line. If both teams play th...

You don't control any of the dates, but you fight only 1, and it matters in only 1 of them? You have clearly pointed out that tier 1 is far better than association hockey. You just cant seem to look at the big picture. One affects the other. We are not talking apples and oranges, we are talking abou...

I also see quite a few kids playing on multiple AAA teams. 1 reason is that they practicing with the invite level, but during tournament games they dont see much ice time.So they play with an open team because they will get game ice time. I wouldn't do this, but understand if they have the time, and...

Except that TJ Oshie is neither an '87 or a Minnesotan. Oshie was born in 1986 in Washington State and played his first 10 years of hockey all the way through bantams in Everett, Washington, playing mostly in Canadian Leagues. He spent only 3 years playing hockey in Minnesota, moving from Washingto...

now you really lost me? February vacations? vacations relate to hockey cutoff? Let me make the connection more clear for you. Your main reason for changing the date to June 1st is to let classmates play together. Children that have been held back because their birthday was in June through August. Le...

you nailed it... they are held back from starting school. It is not starting school at the normal time. If the vast majority of June-Aug. bithdate kids delay entry (especially boys), wouldn't they now be starting at the normal time. These days, it is the summer birthdates that don't delay (often ag...

you nailed it... they are held back from starting school. It is not starting school at the normal time. The only help they get is IF they are held back, they can play 1 more year of hockey before high school. That is it, playing with their classmates is not help. Association hockey may not last fore...

You missed my question. How does it truly help someone? How does it help many? What help are you talking about? Alot of kids start skating when they are 4, some start when they are 7. There is no documentation or proof that starting at 4 is better than starting at 7. Maybe when they are 8 the skater...

Well my youngest is my daughter, she may not have been mature enough to have entered kindergarten last year. Most would say she was not mature enough. Maybe we should have held her back. Oh wait, now we have to move the date back to December. Yes, she was closer to 6 than 5 when she entered kinderga...

Everyone here goes on and on and on. And I guess I'm stupid enough to keep reading. We will all have to agree to disagree. One of my boys is a July birthday, the pre-school teachers recommended to hold him back and start kindergarten the following year, as they stated they recommend for all kids tha...
