Rogers was the much better team. Physically intimidated scc and dominated play overall. Rogers has 2 very good forward lines, solid D top to bottom, and good goaltending. I give them a good shot against hermantown.

I'm excited to see who comes out of this section! I think the SCC Rogers semi final will be a great game. The finals schould be even better and whoever wins it will have a good shot at the state title.

The 2012 tourney is gonna be unreal. Most likely seeing teams like East, MG, Tonka, Eagan, Htown, Breck, STA, ect.. Always gotta take into account a few possible section upsets but this years should be one to remember. Hopefully as many OT games as last year.

Section 5A could be a very interesting one. Rogers only lost to Hermantown 2-1 as well. Should be fun to watch come early march!

They have some of the best forwards of any single A team that i've seen. We'll see if they can make a run as far as the team Marshall led to the state semis.

He got drafted by Muskegon but I believe he also tendered with Coulee Region of the NAHL. So i think he's going to Muskegon but if that doesn't work out he's going to play in the NA. Congrats to Tyler!

Re: New team in 7AA

STMA- Should add to an already strong section. [strong youth program] Yes, they are a real hockey power. Pre-seasom favorite? Many youth championships, should give East and GR a run for their money. :D :D :D HAHA I hope your joking! Definately not in the next few years, but about 3 years from now I...

Yes that is wrong. Senior forward Brian LaVallee was in net for the Knights...his 50 some saves is quite impressive for a non-goalie I was at the game yesterday (left after 2 periods). The kid obviously gave up his fair share of softies as you'd expect from a first timer. That said, he did make qui...

First off, having them practice together would result in way too many kids out on the ice and nothing would get done. Secondly, there is no JV state tournament. I disagree many teams practice jv and varsity together.... JV players develop faster because they are playing with better competitio...
