Transfer Rules
What do the rules say about a varsity player who moves from one school to another? Does he have to play a year at JV or can he play at the Varsity level (assuming he makes Varsity)? We had a player leave a private school because of financial reasons (his dad lost his job) and stepped right into a Va...

Re: Clint Lewis too development program?
I heard Clint Lewis (Shattuck U16 team) from Lakeville South got an invite to the team. Congrats Clint:) :P Clint reminds me of the movie The Blind Side when the coaches see Michael Orr's demo tape and say "I got to have that guy!" That was his impression when other coaches from Shattuck ...

Best advice out there! Most important enjoy your time with your children as before you realize it they will be out of high school, going to college or starting their own family. Time really flies by. If you have time during he season try and find a game or 2 where you know no one and just watch the ...

We've been going to Greenway for years but ever since the changing of tournament directors, NEVER again. None of the officials wear certified patches which tells you someting about how your game is going to be called. Watched an official get into a shouting match with an upset parent over a BS call ...

Road Rage: Beating up on us poor old Canadians. That's typical for some guy who has issues especially based on your screen name. Canadians by nature play harder and usually are more tallented. Let's face it, what else is there to do; you play hockey. Our refs allow our boys to play the sport which i...

Re: Broken Link above, but ...
This was the worst tournament we played in. The tournament director allowed multiple kids to play with multiple teams. That's pretty sad when you allow that. Stats were screwed up and when the tournament director was advised, he did nothing to correct the problem. Our team will not be going back. Ve...

Re: Grand Rapids tries to oust LaRoque as head coach
http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/event/article/id/177861/ My advice is to journal everything that has happened and based on what you are saying, will more than likely happen in the future and present that to your AD. When the AD fails to respond by keeping his head in the sand, contact a lawyer and...

Blaine getting some kids from Hill Murray and Coon Rapids
I heard Blaine is getting a few kids from Hill Murray and up to 4 open enrollment kids from Coon Rapids?
Any truth to this or is it just another rumor?
If so, they are going to be pretty good in a few years again based on these transfer kids.

Maybe your association should call them evaluations instead of tryouts. If you have a girl, it's free from what your saying; no reason to complain. I would go to your next board meeting and stand up and say something. Tell your assocation they are loosing out on a chance to soak more parents for mor...

http://assets.ngin.com/attachments/document/0011/3017/Boys_Adv_15_Summer_Teams_2010xls__2_.pdf Thats incredible! I think they got every one of them right!! :D I disagree. I've had 2 older boys make the Adv 15's in the past and like the other past lists, I would say 2/3's of this list is right. Not ...
