Sure there are politics involved... Watched a number of games and it would be very hard to pick 20 kids out of 80 in a three game tryout. Out of the 20 they picked you could take 10 and interchange the next 20-30 kids that didn't make it and still have a strong team. But congrats to the top 20 that ...

Re: Head Contact
The hit on Moore from Nanne.. Boarding call all the way 4 weeks ago.. Don't call it different now! Any One else notice that refs are not calling head contact in the Tourney? How can an elbow not be head contact? Just wondering if any one else is noticing it? No ref wants to be the reason for why a g...

Re: Section Realignments
Already set. St. Thomas will stay at class A According the the mshls website they are going to start the process pretty soon. As far as enrollments are concerned Mahtomedi, Alexandria, Saint Thomas Academy, Rogers, and New Prague are all on the bubble when it comes to A or AA. Any thoughts as to any...

Trophy Chasers. Sick and tired of St. Thomas. Don't blame it on the head master. If you pushed hard enough you could move up. I wish no one would set up games with this team until they move up... Let the class a tournement be for the little schools from one community.. Not the little school that get...

I also like David Gunderman I feel he will make an impact next year. He is a junior and is very unutilized. Very strong an aggresive player. Should be playing more this year. In terms of Studs next year the team has a couple solid underclassman. Junior Ryan Sobazkiewicz has played on the top line al...

Lets talk aboout Simley when they start playing someone worth talking about! Next year, the confrence voted on it last year and decided they wouldnt play simley twice because they couldnt field a jv last year, but they have a full squad this year which hasnt been playing that bad. Good question, Whe...

Good question, When are oour spartans going to play a full conference scheduale? I think your wrong. I just looked at the river heights website and out of the top 4 scorers 2 are froom ssp and 2 from IGH. The top scorer is from igh and has about 10 more points than anyone else. But look at his +/- i...

Yes, an Empty netter from the other zone. SSP is gritty, And can make a run in the sections if a few bounces go there way. Palmquist has been playing very well. They have to stay out of the box. I believe STA game included an empty net goal. Goalie for SSP played well, STA put up a lot of shots. SSP...

The Phantom Assist.
Was at the SSP vs Eagan game last week and only one goal had less than 2 assist. I know for a fact that some assist were given when they shouldn't be. At the end of the year how many points do you think are Forged? Just very bugged by this.
