Re: Sartell beats SC Tech!

Hey Puckhead... don't get so defensive for your buddy Chad, he can handle a little criticism.. The point I'm making is that he's never had to coach a young team before, he's always had a group of seniors that could carry the team, and good goal tending. It'll be interesting to see if he can make the...

Sartell beats SC Tech!

I've heard that Sartell was just a so-so team, and that the mighty St. Cloud Tech team would challenge for the section 8AA championship... Well Sartell beat Tech la...

Re: STCplaya18

Didn't they say the same thing about Crandall when he was starting at D for SCC as an eighth grader too? The Schmidt kid is the real deal, as is Schroeder down south, and Jake Johnson up north. (I think he was a top player in the eighth grade, freshman for sure) Some of these young guns can really p...

SCC

SCC lost their starting goalie, but have two ready to step into the spot. They lost one defenseman, and really only one forward who made a deference. They'll miss Schmidt for sure, and some of the rest, but I'd say that most of the holes are already filled.

Re: Good luck

Well said Tim. I'll probably see you this weekend and I'll share a similar story. Yeah, you don't know who this is, but I'll let you know.

Good luck to all the boys and girls who move out and move on. Hockey's a great vehicle for life experiences.

Re: Mike Schmidt

Hey OldTimer, doesn't Crandall play a very good soccer game, and Noack's a top level runner in Cross Country and Track for SCC? I also know that Tech's Buttweiler's a good baseball player as well. Apollo has a couple of hockey players that are great baseball players, Doug Keller's in the scorebox a ...

Team picked?

I would have agreed with John before this 17 pick. I see some players that everyone would have expected to see on the roster not being there. Defensively, Canzennelo (sp?) being one of those that would have expected to be on the list. Galloway, as all the defensemen, looked good. Was he top three? N...

St. Cloud Times / Dahl

Sorry, but I went and looked at the Times web site, but I couldn't find anything on the editorial pages. (I don't read the web stuff, I get the paper every morning.) Usually in the Sunday editions there are a couple of letters from fans saying that they need to fire Dahl. Personally, I don't know if...

Define "down"

Ok, you guys think that the Gophers are down... how'd you like to be an SCSU follower? The local paper has letters in every day looking for Dahl's head. Now, THAT program is "down".
