"I was not there but was told by a scout friend of mine that the MN Seniors were the best "team" there (not necessarily best long term talent but best "team")" So team concepts are not given much appreciation by scouts? It only allows teams to win but does not make good...

Having seen most of these teams play this year, Orono is my dark horse. The game I saw they played well. They have a shot and I think match up better with EGF then they would with Hermantown.

SCC at number 4 seems to be very generous. Other than a recent win over TG, they have no wins against top 10 teams. They are 0-4 against EGF, Warroad, Hermantown and Breck, giving up 18 goals and only scoring 2 against them. I'd have them in the 7 to 10 range on this list. SCC also has a win over N...

The last two penalties against Hermantown probably should have been no calls, standard of play.

Cathedral team defense has improved substantially this year. The first 15 games Cathedral gave up 2.5 goals/game. They only gave up half that for the last 12. This will be a great game but Cathedral wins.

Re: w

Hermantown is small even for Class A. The school size could almost double and it would still be a Class A. Also, Hermantown has 1 sheet of inside ice that serves its entire youth and HS programs. How many AA programs, private schools don't count because as far as I know they don't have a youth progr...

Hey St Cloud fan, when you talk about neutral sites being a joke how about this year where if SCC and Hermantown are in the final Hermantown travels 170 mi and SCC travels 69? As far as the seeding, maybe the section final score will bring more clarity for you around rankings accuracy. This section...

Shocked SCC is not the #1 seed. Where is the respect? Both great teams but logic would give the nod to the head to head winner. If you want to talk record cathedrals loss to holy family and tech came without their best player too. Im as big of a St Cloud hockey supporter as anyone on here and yes C...

You know for a team without front end talent Great Plains did beat North, NW and SE last weekend of the season. These teams are very close. Great Plains can field a top line that is very talented.

So the thought process goes that if you have a program that is consistently successful they should play AA. All privates fit the bill due to perception that they must be recruiting to be successful. Why are we stopping there? Why not throw Hermantown or Warroad for example up to AA? They seem to be ...

The players are afraid to make a check now since it is a very significant impact. Probably not as much of an impact for a faster skater but it is taking away an equalizer for someone who has relied on use of the body to slow someone down in the past. Like it or not it is changing the game. It will c...
