Re: ok
Breck has turned out 3 or more per year for a number of years now. Others I can think of currenty playing D1, Curry-BU, Brenk- Mankato, Dahl- Alaska, Nibbe -Yale, Joe Adams- BC, Dunlap - BU now transfered to Michigan, and a whole slew at DIII.

Someone gave the advice earlier that a player sho...

1 Goal?
Vaneck had to play the game with 2 players water skiing behind him the entire game. Not to say that UMD didn't spread the hooking and holding around evenly to all the gophers.

If Centennial doesn't send the trophy down to Sleepy eye, the MSHSL should take back Centennial's Good Sportsmanship banner.

Amazing run. Does that mean other teams have improved significantly or was this a really down year for them?

hockeytape,
If it's any consolation, I got your point. Pretty amazing stat. I am sure no one else comes close, but I wonder how many Minnetonka gives up on average.

Give me a cocky goalie anytime!

Especially at that position I want a goalie that has as much confidence as he can get. If he comes off as cocky, fine with me. Breck 05
I spoke with Breck's AD around Christmas and told me that they did not admit any new hockey players for next year. I learned from a friend that they do have a new top math student coming in 05 or 06 who is one of the top Pee Wee players in the state. His parents didn't emphasize that he played hocke...

Actually, last time around this came down to Chapman and Giles. Edina would have been better off with Chapman, but I am sure that Breck was glad to keep him. Breck would never have had the season they did without him.

Edina would be smart to try and get Chapman, he played for Edina, the gophe...

Breck players had classes on thursday.
My son heard from a Breck student that Breck players were required to attend classes on the second day of the tournament. Tough day for the goalie I guess as he was sick as a dog.

Any other schools have to attend classes?

private tourney
I don't agree that there should be a private tourney and I think the results would be exactly what you are trying to thwart. If we went back to a private tourney you would see more players moving to privates to play for the most exposer. I do agree that AA and A would combine as the MSHL would proba...

opinions
The average age of the contributors to site has dropped drastically in the last year or so. There are many positives to that, such as inside info and close up views from players. On the other hand, I am guessing that a lot of kid chat lines get pretty personal and abusive and I think some who find t...

Actually Petey,
Breck, Blake, and AHA are not the same. It is much more difficult to get into Breck or Blake. They both have tougher entrance requirements, class size restrictions, and much higher price tags than AHA.

Slapper,
Is there any truth to the rumor that in an effort to move to class A, EP and Centennial have petitioned the League to be allowed to only have to count players trying out for the team as school population. This would give them approximately the same count as Warroad's high school.

...
