Re: Role of the Minnesota State High School League
Not wanting to drag things away from the transfer topic, but I wanted to talk about the goalie cages. The goalies go to combines and junior camps and see these cages being used. They try them and like the difference it makes. It is very easy to swap out the cage portion of the mask. They choose to le...

Re: 7AA 2019-2020
Chaska in the mix for a metro team with a lot of open enrolls. Last years roster had: Bronson, Scholle, Fletcher, Lynch, Olmscheid and Magnuson from Chanhassen. Benz and McDonald from Shakopee. Pitlick and Erickson from Wayzata. Barry from Orono. Might have had more but don't know all the kids. This...

Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
I agree that things have been changing and there are more options. I also agree that certain teams and coaches have more pull than others. Nobody can tell me that the 7-9 guys from Minnetonka are all better than some of the kids that were passed over. I have known some kids that I thought were locks...

Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
The tough question is how do we change things. I feel good that a kid like Howe was able to make a move and get some playing time. He was talented but was going to sit. On the other hand, there are so many others that are transferring for all the reasons listed in earlier posts. My kids played on th...

Re: 2AA Final - Eden Prairie vs. Holy Family
I went to both 2AA section games. I had already seen all the teams except HF this year. My opinion was that EP was the best team I saw that day. They were doing all the little things right, including limiting the shots to areas and opportunities that their keeper could handle. In the Tonka game, the...

Re: What happened to Followthepuck.com?
Just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed being able to get the Twitter scores and look at the website for the quick breakdown of the stats for each game. I know it is a lot of work so I will understand if it has become too much. Hopefully it is just a lull and everything will be back in time for t...

Re: Games Thursday January 10, 2019
Benchwarmer Bob's grandson plays for Tonka so you will see him once in awhile. Some nice games last night but also a lot of blowouts. Surprised to see teams with the depth of Blake and Chaska continuing to score goals in running time blowouts with their star players. I always figured that was the ti...
