No Civello in nets for MV. WBL will be tough as usual. Check the EGOS and play like a team you will do well. They have talent thats for sure, now if they stop worrying about where they will play after HS and concentrate on the HS season they should finish on top. Roseville will be a little weaker th...

I've seen probably every game but 3-4 this season. The only chance they realisticlly have is if Civ plays huge. He is the biggest part of that team not to take anything away from the other players, Brock is having a big season but if Civ goes so do the Mustangs. I would love to see these guys pull t...

7-0 MV. Anyone know wht Josh Stewart didn't play for Park? Looks like they went with the backup. Yeah, they probably would have won with Stewart in the game. Sorry I missed the part where I said it would have been a different out come if he was in nets. Just asking if anyone knows if why he ...

Why wouldn't Stillwater be ahead of both MV and Tartan? Stillwater is 8-9 in conferance and MV is 3-10.

The jump from bantams to high school can be a transition. Besides that the guy is already coaching high school hockey. Know I'm not saying it coaching or the players probably a combo of both. Just like fffhockey stated at one time the players and some of the parents would love to see him come back. ...

Mustangman I'm a bit confused you say you played with coach Nitti which would mean you never played for coach Thomas. You also say he couldn't adjust to the bantam level but from my understanding they nearly double there wins each of his 3 years there and the last year they won the league championsh...

pucks/sticks, what would the old bantam coach bring to the table that the current coach does not? From the little I know of him one thing would be his intesity for the game. This guys intense and his players really seem to feed of that. #2 From things I've heard is the way he would demand the playe...

I don't know if I would say 2-9 in conf. is decent but thats just me. As for players doing the scoring. Pederson (senior) Bothwell (senior) at least last time I checked?

No one is talking about going to state. I'm talking about pride in playing, and giving it all you've got. That appears to be missing at the MV high school level. Get over losing Nitti and quit playing like black sheep. I agree with you again. Lets finish out the season and see what takes place with...

I think the big picture is that no one coach is going to come in and turn this program around in a couple of years and get them to state. The one thing I know is that they can not continue to have players leave and expect to win. That is the one thing I think the old coach fffhockey is talking about...

I would agree with fffhockey. I know MV doesn't have a ton of talent but you have to come up with a better game plan than that against a very good RV team. I know there old coach has been at a lot of there games even though hes coaching at another high school but I'm sure he would love to take his s...

Coaches should be in it for ALL there players but do you really think once Wilson is out of Stillwater Phil will stick around? There is no doubt Phil knows a lot about the game but time will only tell what his long term goals...

I've been watching this thread for some time. I'll start by saying I also agree the goalie is a huge reason they have kept the games closer. Also lets not get over our heads Imissmyhockey CDH is down this year. MV has been outshot 2 to 1 by WBL, 2 to 1 Wood. and 3-1 by Stillwater. Let me say I was ...

gino villella was form stillwater and a player that will be missed. He was 3rd or 4th on the team in points. As far as their record goes they are 1 win away from totaling their wins from last year. The previous coach never had a fantastic team either as far as records go. The best he ever did was a...

Not to keep beating a dead horse but isn't this team like 1-9 in conference? Thats an improvement from the past? If they could have kept that Wolters kid it would have helped but from what I've heard the coaching had alot to do with him not wanting to play for MV. I know its been posted hear that &q...
