I think that the role of the referees is being overstated by many. Actions that are taken by referees are post fact, as was mentioned earlier, the only way that a referee could prevent something from happening is to blow the whistle early and I don't see that happening. The argument that players wil...

Couldn't get much worse after opening the season with an 18-0 loss to Holy Family. Did get the first W out of the way with a win over Windom though :?

I dont really have an opinion, but I remember playing in a tournament in Canada (baseball) when I was like 11 and these kids took a coach bus, and the coach bragged they were going to be touring California. We lost by 1 run. Also, not to dredge up any bad feelings, but isn't this the school where t...

Don't know that, but Hemingway played for a team that cannot score and gave them a chance to win. Lee was surrounded by good players that can score. Hemingway is better. He would have beaten Hill Murray. But nobody likes them anyway. I watched Hemmingway this weekend at the Advanced 17's fianl 54 a...

Re: Parity Vs. Dynasty

What does everyone on the board like....do you want new teams making (and winning) the tournament every year (parity) or do you like the dynasties (pretty much the same powerhouses every year)? If it's a choice of parity vs. dynasty I would take parity, which IMO is better for the growth of the spo...

Nickle,

Not sure how you can count New Ulm as a quality win. They lost to Winona. Using this logic would MW get two more quality wins for twice beating winona?

I also thought that this was a well played game by both teams. The atmosphere in the arena was ridiculous. It had to be fun for the players. And for all of you that are ripping on #7, back off. How do you think it would feel getting two-handed in the nuts?
