That's why they play the games...
I like to peak in here from time to time to read all the dribble. It is fun to make predictions and then see what happens! I was shocked to hear (from the mouth of a Babe) that the Tiny Titans beat EP Black on Friday night. I was more impressed with another convincing win on Saturday over Hastings. ...

I agree and respect your opinion. I agree Black wins and the Mighty Titans will not follow their Varsity foes into the Championship bracket (Good for you Tartan HS Section 2 Champs). Just keeping you honest over here- it seemed you were telling untruths, my young, antler-ed friend.

Good luck to you and your team this weekend, the Elks should be fine. Only one thing to point our in your predictions (which you are entitled to) Have you ever watched Tartan and/or EP Black?? Neither team is physical and both will try to out score one-another. Just a quick FYI. This game will be fa...

Tonka's last game...
EP Red 3, Tonka 0:
It was hard fought and played well. Tonka beat Red 2 of the 3 periods played. Problem was Da Skips didn't score in either of the 1st or 3rd period. Red scored 2 nice 2nd-effort goals and one junker from outside the blue line. 3-0, the final. We ran out of gas as we got to the 3...

Problem with that...
Nice gesture fellas, but remember the teams finished with their seasons teams from BP to Mahtomedi have already hung them up (or sold their gear at play-again) and they deserve consideration too, right? So you would be limited to the 12 teams who are still on the ice. Good idea, bad timing. Perhaps ...

Make sure you Bears fans are being nice to our beloved Rave player. 'Three-Five not only had to repair his teammates image on the ice, but off the ice too! And especially after the "RAVE Cowboy" made a complete ass of himself on this forum. Please remember, little bear cubs, all anyone is ...

No idea
All I know is that the Winner of Tonka v Red gets the winner of Dist 4-11 and I know nothing about them either. I thought someone said that Carlton, Redwood Falls and Albert Lea were the only teams alive (or even had teams in those Districts) I am wondering if anyone knows? Will there be a team that...

He played Juniors in Canada - which is like Junior A here in the states. Don't get JrGold confused with Canadian Junior Hockey. They don't have this level in Canada.

There is rarely JG players that get a good look from college teams. Being a former USHLer and DIII player I didn't see JG players advance to college. I DO know of a few who walked on at colleges and filled roles where needed.

Here is my suggestion as a former player who traveled Iowa for 2 ye...

The RAVEst of Fans...
I saw a partial game, Rave35er, so I didn't pick up all the BS. I heard you explain that situation last night and it sounds like you got jobbed. It is hard to get something started when you're always in the box. I understand your (and your team's) frustration about the officiating, but was as it was...

WEDNESDAY NIGHT HOCKEY AT THE PIC
GAME ONE: Yes, it's true there was a big upset in this one. Tonka came out and scored 2 goals before Rville could take a breath. 3-4-5-6 goals before Rville got their lone goal. Skippers (6), Raiders (1). Nice season to the CG and all the seniors on the Silver & Black!

GAME TWO: EP Red an...

Rat predictions tomorrow
I will say that I am a proponent of "team before all" regardless the city you play for. I would trust that anyone reading the Rat's posts and understanding hockey's depth would figure out that I will never say that a one-man team will win it. Never happens (just ask EP's HS team) Cheap sho...

Coaches Committee
I agree with the above by troll21 to a point. The MHL officials (paid or not) are responsible for the "clean-up" of a once ugly league. Remember Juvies? Those involved deserve credit as do the coach who abide by the bylaws. Some of the veteran coaches and "older dogs" were invite...
