EP may struggle next year. Rumor has it they have had two assistant coaches resign recently. I wonder why this would have happened? If my memory serves me right those two assistants have been there for many years. Are players also leaving?

I a...
When David knocked down Goliath, everyone cheered - except for Goliaths mother. The moral of the story - Don't cry over spilt milk (unless your the cow)
Nicely worded, although I'd give Wayzata more credit than David... EP as Goliath... IMO they were much bett...

Congrats to Wayzata... They are a great team and deserve to be very proud of their efforts. Playfair... You should stop talking... Your comments are tarnishing a great win and a great time for your daughters team! Taking the high road is a great lesson for your team and daughter! As far as the EP an...

Re: The list is not credible without Westberg on it.
This list is an absolute joke without Liz Westberg's name on it. She has played in 19/26 games this year, against all of AHA's toughest opponents. Her save % is north of 95%. Her GAA is 1.21. Her record is 17-2-0. She beat Nixon of Blaine in both games, by scores of 6-...

Interesting to see section 6 AA now has the 1, 2, and 3 teams in state. Section 6 sounds like the real state tourney! Much like the NFL Super Bowl was played 2 or 3 weeks before the big event! It used to be section 2AA was stacked like this and then for 1 year is was 3AA... probably never this bad.....

Ms. Goalie is based more on career than what the girls have done this year. At least that is my interpretation!

Based on the top 5, I would say career was a large factor.

I think you're right in saying college coaches pick these 5 goalies.

Section 6 is loaded and any team could beat anybody on a given evening. Teams have to be ready to play. I'd have to say EP is still the favorite in this section. Also, what I've noticed about EP is their defense has shut opponents down. I believe they have everyone back from last years blue line. De...

3-1 Edina with an empty net goal to make it 3-1. IMO: Two very close teams. Edina has more depth, but they are playing on Wayzata's home ice... Should be a good game!

Section 6 is hands down the toughest section. NO other section comes close. #1, 2, 4, and 10 in LPHs current rankings all come from this section. Section 5 might be close. Section 5 is pretty tough... Eagan, CDH, AHA and Burnsville all have a great shot at making it to State! Example: Edina, Wayzata...
