Another loss at home, what a horrible effort between the pipes. Like I said before, Jefferson's goaltending will determine how far they go. They outshot Burnsville 2:1 in the shot totals, yet weren't even in the game. Very disappointing.
Coborn and McMorrow from PR will be going to play juniors I assume. I'm going to investigate this in the coming days. Haven't heard any reports yet, though.
Kovalchuck is a free agent this summer, thats why he went for nothing. You'd have to have very very high expectations for Leddy to call this a bad trade for the Wild. Kovalchuk not costing very much is the exact reason you go after him. We're trying to make a push for the 8 seed for christ sake, ma...
The chances of the Wild winning a cup with borrowed players, or by going all "Yankees" on the NHL are slim to none. That's not how the league works now. They need, and will, build through the draft. Definitely a good strategy and great business to trade your 1st rounder 6 months after you...
Barker is by far the B-hawks worst defenseman(I know they have a solid group). How he was the #3 overall pick is beyond me. I personally watched him in Chicago the past few years and he is not at all a good D-man. Johnnson is overpaid, but we are only getting worse at that position with this move.
This is a bigger game for Jefferson than EP. A Jefferson win gives them the #1 seed in 2AA. Even if EP wins, they will not be the #1 seed in 6AA. That will go to Tonka or Wayzata. EP will still have to play one of those two in the semi's for 6AA. If I were Lee, I would try some new line combination...
Lakeville South (13-8) Nice summary. But, please notice, when you use the number 8 with either a left ( or right ) parenthesis, you get a smiley face. One needs to use brackets [] with the number 8. (8) = smiley face; [8] = eight, or use a space ( 8 ) Yes, I know; I copy-paste these from a word doc...
4. Bloomington Jefferson (16-3-2/4-3-2) -Wins over Eagan and Moorhead continue their hot streak and push them into the top 5. A win over EP would ice the cake nicely and lock them in up here. Need: Quality play from defensemen not named Faust or Pauluk. The goaltending switch looks like it was the ...
I can recollect a few weeks back a certain guy saying Burnsville and Jefferson were too low and Osseo, East and Roseau were too high. And what has happened since? It's like magic, I tell you. :D I'm on the Burnsville wagon, too, but I think #5 is a bit of a reach. Hill had a slight glitch and from t...
And your contribution to the discussion is.........? BTW, you can borrow one of my periods, how about this one --> . Believe it or not, people do read these threads to to find out what is going on in MN HS hockey. Not everyone is able to see all the games first hand so they ask questions.....obviou...
